I am happy and excited to announce that we have exceeded our goal of $20,000! Since our last update there have been some very generous online donations from indivuals in the church! We have reached a grand total of $21,491.59!

I hope everyone had a marvelous and blessed Christmas and new years! We are steadily nearing our goal of $20,000 and have a bit of an update since the last post. With some generous individual donations and a successful Kids Christmas Party our new total is at $16,791.59. That puts us at 84% to our goal! We have some more events coming up in the new year like an arts show and some music concerts. Stay tuned!

On Saturday night we had an absolutely packed house for Vivaldi's 4 Seasons. Lights were low, strings were soothing and magical, and everyone showed for this beautiful night. Having to add four more rows of chairs before the show starts is always a good problem to have.

From admission donations and donations from snacks and drinks we raised a total of $2469.20!

That now puts our grand total at $15,194.95.  That's 76% of our goal!

Grace Vancouver has had many wonderful events in the last few months to raise money for DFN and the classroom we are working hard to build.

In August we had a wonderful classical music concert and in September a rummage sale. Members of our community have come up with great ideas as well and have hosted events from selling handmade bags to family photo shoots with proceeds going to DFN. 

Our new grand total is an impressive $12,785.75. That's 64% of our goal!

Please join us for our next event on December 1st at Grace Vancouver for an evening of Vivaldi's Four Seasons performed by Camerata Bella Musica and soloist Dominic Woo. Entrance is by donation and music starts at 7:30pm. 

On May 26, 2012, we held a benefit concert to raise funds for our classroom. The evening featured chamber music performed by four local musicians. Congregants and community members gathered to enjoy the program and support the cause.

We are thrilled to report that $4,245 was raised that evening - over one fifth of our total goal!
